This trip will take on a gentle but beautiful trek from Cusco to the old Inca capital of Huchuy Qosco.
This trail, once walked by the Incas themselves, will take you from the highlands surrounding Cusco and through high Andean farmlands dotted with llamas all the way into the Sacred Valley and the ancient citadel of Huchuy Qosco. Along the way you'll get spectacular views of Cusco, of mountain lagoons and waterfalls, canyons and ancient ruins, and be able to take in traditional local ways of life up close. You'll also spend a night camping beneath the stars at the Inca ruins of Pumamarca. The whole way you'll be accompanied by an expert guide who will share with you the history of everything you encounter along your way.
